I know everyone always says "Quality over quantity" but it's really hard to follow that rule when you're on a strict budget. Would I love to buy a $50 bottle of foundation or $25 mascara at Ulta or Sephora? Um, heck yes! But right now my budget just doesn't allow it. I've spend years (I'm not kidding, people, literally YEARS) trying to find my perfect drugstore makeup products that make me feel confident and beautiful. I'm always trying new products when they come out to see if they would suit my skin better, but ultimately I've narrowed it down to these eight products that I use everyday and swear by!
SHOP BEAUTY ITEMS
I apply with a damp beauty blender and this stuff will stay on ALL. DAY. I usually wear shade 104, but I also own shade 105 because it matches my self tanner!

I use this to contour as well, so in addition to applying under my eyes I add it to my chin, the center of my nose and forehead and blend with my beauty blender. It's super long wearing so will stay on all day, but make sure your blender is pretty damp because I've found it can get cakey if you layer it too much! I use the shade "Ivory" but it comes in over 20 shades so you can find what fits your skin tone best.

This translucent powder is what I use to set my concealer so it doesn't budge. For everyday wear I just swipe it on with a brush, but if I'm going for a more made-up look (like date night or a wedding) I will apply it over my concealer with a blender and let it bake for a while.

4. Maybelline City Bronzer - $8
I'm not a fan of shimmery bronzer so I was thrilled when I found this one. I use the darkest shade to contour under my cheekbones and along my hairline. It's also good for blending your foundation into your neck and chest if needed!

5. Elf Blush - $3
Elf is the most budget friendly beauty brand ever! This is honestly the most simple, basic blush and it does the trick every day.

6. Elf Baked Highlighter -$4
This shade is called 'Moonlight Pearls' and can also double as an eye shadow. I use a fan brush to swipe it on the top of my cheekbones and down the center of my nose for some extra glimmer.

I know a lot of people use brow pencils these days and even get their brows microbladed if they can afford it, but I actually prefer a more natural look and use powder to subtly color in my brows. It gives me just enough color without looking overbearing!

8. L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara - $8
Last but not least, I apply a few coats of mascara to my upper and lower lash line. This has been my favorite mascara for years and I don't know why I ever try anything different. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I usually apply a very thin coat before I start my make-up routine so when it comes time to use my eyelash curler and apply my final coats it works better. This is my holy grail product right here.

Here is the final product! This is basically what I look like every day aside from weddings/special events where I try a little harder! It's a super easy routine and these budget friendly products do the job for me. I hope this shows you that you can look and feel good without spending a fortune at Sephora or Ulta:

Do you have any drugstore products that you think I should try out? I'm always open to try new stuff because the beauty industry is always changing! Let me know in the comments.
